1/2 c. butter

1/4 c. sugar

1 c. all purpose flour


1 c. sugar

4 TB butter, melted

1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 large eggs, beaten

1/2 c. flour

1 c. macadamia nuts, chopped





Cooking Process:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees; lightly grease an 8-inch baking pan. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Stir in flour. Transfer firmly into bottom of prepared pan. Bake 12-15 minutes; until brown. In a separate bowl, combine sugar and butter. Add extract and eggs, blending well. Add flour and nuts. Pour into warm crust. Return to oven; continue baking center is firm, about 45-50 minutes. Cool before cutting into 16 squares.
