Local-Style Katsu Sauce

I was looking for some steak sauce to eat with my ribeye steak and couldnt find any so I resorted to making some homemade katsu sauce and it was even better than bottled steak sauce...of course it tastes great with chicken katsu as well!!

Ingredients: Print   Add to cart
US Metric

•1 cup catsup
•1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
•1/2 cup sake
•2 tablespoons ginger (grated)
•2 tablespoons garlic (crushed)
•1/4 cup sugar
•1/4 cup mirin

Cooking Process:

Put all above ingredients in sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium heat stirring occasionally. Reduce to a simmer for 25-30 minutes
