My sister makes a version of this Shrimp Victoriarecipe, which reminds her of the old Victoria Station Restaurant’s dish.It is a favorite dish at our family get togethers.
48 large shrimp, shell and tail on, halved lengthwise
12 TB butter, room temperature
4 cloves garlic, minced, to taste
1 large shallot, minced
½ medium bunch Italian parsley, chopped
1 lemon, juiced
Pinch garlic salt
¼ c. bread crumbs, as needed
Preheat the broiler. In a mixing bowl; combine the butter, garlic, shallots, parsley, lemon juice and salt..Arrange shrimp onto broiler pan. Spread butter mixture generously onto shrimp. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Broil until cooked through, about 4 minutes. Note: add additional garlic and bread crumbs as desired. Serve immediately. Serves 6-8.
