2 lbs. bone-in pork chops

½ c. flour

1 tsp. garlic powder

½ tsp. onion powder

½ tsp. garlic salt

¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper

2+1 TB vegetable oil, as needed

1 TB butter

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 oz. button mushrooms, sliced

4 oz. cremini mushrooms, sliced

¼ tsp. dried thyme

3 TB flour

1 ½ c. beef broth

½ c. milk

1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Dash Tabasco

Cooking Process:

In a shallow dish; combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Dredge pork chops in mixture. In a skillet over medium heat; brown pork chops in 2 TB of oil. Remove from skillet. Set aside. Into skillet; sauté onion in remaining 1 TB of oil and butter until browned. Add garlic, mushrooms and thyme. Cook 5-6 minutes until mushrooms have browned. Stir in flour until well incorporated. Whisk in broth, milk, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco until thickened. Taste for seasoning. Reduce heat; return pork chops to skillet.
