Spicy Thai-Style Pesto
A great pesto to have on hand for a quick salad with shredded cabbage or a great warm weather noodle salad. Add any leftover rotisserie chicken or grilled steak or pork.
4 cloves garlic, peeled
2 green jalapeno peppers, seeded, as desired
1 c. cilantro leaves
¼ c. green onions
¼ c. Thai basil
1 TB sesame seed oil
In a blender, combine all ingredients well. Makes approximately1/2 cup; enough for 1 pound of soba, somen or broad bean noodles.
