  • 4 pounds of mussel meat
  • 3/4 pound of round onion, minced
  • 1 pinch of coarse salt (to taste)
  • 4 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 4 tablespoons of toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of crushed red chili pepper flakes
  • 1-2 tablespoons Kim Chee Base (or to taste)

Cooking Process:


In a medium size non-reactive bowl, combine mussel meat, round onion, salt, sesame oil, red chili pepper flakes and kim chee base; Mix well.  Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
