Mini Portuguese Sausage Tortilla Bites
The perfect tapas style bite!!
- 1 - Portuguese Sausage, sliced thin
- 2 - Tortillas
- 16 -Slices Swiss or your favorite cheese
- butter for frying pan
Slice portuguese sausage and cook in frying pan until brown. Drain excess oil on paper towel.
In clean frying pan, melt tablespoon of butter on medium heat. Add flour tortilla, layer of cheese, 2-3 layers of portuguese sausage and cheese again. Put another tortilla on top. Cook on one side until golden brown, then carefully flip to brown the other side of the tortilla.
When browned on both sides, remove from heat and allow to cool. Carefully cut into bite sized pieces and skewer with toothpicks.
