Linguini With Clam Sauce

Linguine with white clam sauce.  I used to go to Bella Italia at the Ala Moana shopping center.. they made the best linguine with clams!!

  • 8 oz. linguini, cooked according to directions, drained
  • 2 (7 ½ oz.) cans chopped clams, with liquid
  • 2 TB olive oil
  • 2 TB butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • Garlic salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 TB Italian parsley, chopped

Cooking Process:

Drain clams; reserving ¾ cup of liquid. In a skillet over medium heat; warm oil and butter. Saute garlic 2 minutes. Add wine and clam liquid and reduce by half. Add clams, salt, pepper and bring to a boil. Remove from heat; toss in pasta and parsley. Serves 2-3.
