Hawaiian Style Seasoning Salt

Version of the seasoning salt we use for everything! You can pretty much use all kinds of herbs, this is just a start! For those on the mainland, if you can't find Hawaiian salt, you can use Kosher should hold up because it's about the same size as Hawaiian salt.

Disclaimer: I haven't used Kosher salt in this recipe, so please try to get Hawaiian salt at all costs!

US Metric

5 lbs. Hawaiian salt

3 cloves garlic, grated

1/2 lb. ginger, grated

1/4 cup black pepper

1/2 lb. fresh rosemary

1/2 lb. fresh thyme

Cooking Process:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients and bake for 1 hour, or until dried, in shallow baking pan.

Stir occasionally during cooking process.

Cool completely before packaging.

Store in air-tight containers.

how to serve:

Perfect on beef, pork, chicken and even in the water you boil your spaghetti!

Also, substitute this salt for some of your other recipes that call for Hawaiian salt or salt!
