Japanese love pickled everything! If you don't like beets, try this recipe and you may change your mind!
1 lb. beets, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
1/4 tsp. salt
Heat water, sugar, vinegar and salt until dissolved.
Cool mixture and pour over beets and onions.
Refrigerate overnight for best results.
Add vegetables to your dinner or lunch meals! Great to take for parties as well!
