  • 2 Tbsp. Aloha shoyu (use tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 12 dried shrimp (omit shrimp for vegetarian)
  • salt

Cooking Process:

Wash and cut pumpkin into 1-inch pieces.  In a Medium pot, place pumpkin, water, shoyu, sugar and shrimp to a boil.  Lower heat and stir.  Cook until pumpkin is soft, usually 45-60 minutes.
