Miso Shoyu Chicken

A take on our favorite Misoyaki style preparation, but using chicken.  Also great cooked over an open charcoal fire !

Prep Time: marinate overnight | Cook Time: 30-40 minutes | Ready In: 30-40 minutes plus marinade
Ingredients: Print   Add to cart
US Metric
  • 5 lb. chicken, drum sticks & thighs
  • 1 c. white miso paste
  • 1 c. Aloha shoyu soy sauce
  • 1 c. beer
  • 1/2 c. mirin sake
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Cooking Process:

Marinate chicken overnight with combined ingredients. Remove from marinade and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes.

how to serve:

Serve over vegetables and rice!
