1 bag Taro Brand Premium Fresh Frozen Poi

1/4 cup water

Cooking Process:

Defrost frozen poi at room temperature for 1 hour.  Add about 2" of water to a pot and bring water to a boil.  Break frozen poi into pieces and place in glass bowl and add 1/4 water to bowl.  Place bowl in pot of boiling water, turn off heat and cover.  Allow to sit for 30 minutes.  After 30 minutes, remove bowl from pot, add cold water to poi to your desired consistency and refrigerate covered.  To prevent a skin from forming over the poi, I like to cover the poi with a layer of water.  Be sure to pour water out before serving.
