Ingredients: Print   Add to cart
US Metric

4 bananas, mashed
¼ cup brown sugar
peanut butter sauce *
1 pkg. lumpia wrapper
oil for deep frying
vanilla ice cream
chocolate syrup


Peanut Butter Sauce
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
3 tablespoons butter
pinch of salt
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup evaporated milk
Salted peanuts, optional

Cooking Process:

Heat oil to 350 degrees. Mix bananas and brown sugar. Separate lumpia wrappers and lay flat. Add Peanut Butter sauce & mashed bananas on wrapper and roll. Deep Fry for a few minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and allow to cool.

Peanut Butter Sauce
Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Add peanut butter and stir till smooth. Stir in evaporated milk. Mix until smooth. Allow to cool to room temperature.
