

Tempura Batter
Tempura Batter - a great standard quick and fool proof recipe, very simple and I use it for fish, onion rings and cut up vegetables. Easy and a pure delight every time!

- 1 large egg
- ½ c. water
- 1 c. all purpose flour
- 3 TB cornstarch
- 2 TB sugar
- ¼ c. sake
- 1 tsp. salt
Cooking Process:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together egg and water. Stir in remaining batter ingredients.

Makes 1 3/4 cups.
