I had my first taste of a dish similar to this at a food booth at a craft fair. The recipe was simple, onion, bacon, soy sauce, rice and wasabi. That version was a sinus clearing experience, but oh so good. Feel free to add as much or as little as you like.

2-3 TB wasabi (Japanese horseradish) paste, as needed
1 tsp. vegetable oil
1 large egg+1 large egg white, beaten
1 TB sesame seed oil
½ lb. ground pork, chicken or turkey
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 TB fresh ginger, grated
1 TB oyster sauce
¼ c. green onion, chopped
2 serrano chilies, seeded, thinly sliced
3-4 c. cooked rice, air dried or refrigerated
pinch freshly ground black pepper
¼ c. chopped fresh cilantro, 2 TB pickled ginger

Cooking Process:

In a wok over medium heat, scramble eggs in vegetable oil. Remove from wok; reserve. Into wok over medium high heat; stir fry meat, garlic and ginger in sesame oil until cooked through. Add remaining ingredients; adding wasabi paste as desired. Garnish with cilantro and ginger. Variation: Substitute scrambled soft tofu for eggs.
