1st PLACE BREAKFAST PEACHY BISCUITS
This has to be one of the simplest recipes ever. Yet, it brought me a 1st place price at a local TV station morning contest. This Breakfast Peachy Biscuits recipe was created for a 2nd grade summer cooking class I taught.
2 TB sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 2 (7.5 oz.) tubes buttermilk biscuits 1 (16 oz.) sliced peaches, drained, thinly sliced 2 TB butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375 degrees; lightly grease a 9-inch cake or spring form pan. In a mixing bowl; combine sugar and cinnamon, reserve. Arrange biscuits in prepared pan; insert peaches between biscuits. Brush with butter; sprinkle with sugar mixture. Bake 25 minutes. Serves 8-10.
