A time saving recipe, full of Asian flavors. This Oven Poached Fish dish is greatly served on a bed of somen or soba noodles.

4 ea. 6 oz. fish fillets, (tilapia, salmon, pink or red snapper), skin removed
1-inch ginger, peeled, thinly sliced
3 stalks green onion, thinly sliced diagonally
½ medium onion, thinly sliced
2 TB Aloha shoyu
2 TB sake
1 TB sesame seed oil
Juice of 1 lemon

Cooking Process:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking dish with aluminum foil. Into prepared pan; whisk together soy sauce, sake, sesame seed oil and lemon juice. Layer fish fillets onto sauce. Top with ginger, green onion and onion slices. Cover with aluminum foil; bake 10-14 minutes until fish is cooked through. Note: Adjust cooking time for thicker fish fillets, ie., salmon 16-20 minutes.

how to serve:

For service: Serve on a bed of warmed somen or soba noodles or with hot steamed rice. Serves 4.
